FANHOME DAZZLES NYCC 2024

If there was an award for 'Best-In-Show' of vendor booths at the New York Comic Con in 2024, it would be hard to not give the award to FanHome for their extraordinary display over the four days on the event at Jacob Javits Center on the island of Manhattan in New York City. Bathed in FanHome's iconic purple hue, FanHome brought an array of collections, collectibles, and build-up models that kept the janitorial staff busy from all the salivation from anybody who walked by. From cars to starships to figures, booth #1445 had it all for every collector.

STARSHIPS GALORE

Since the fall of Eaglemoss Collections in July of 2022, Star Trek fans have been eagerly awaiting the revival of the Star Trek Starships collection. FanHome has had these ships in the works for a while but they made their debut when the cover was lifted at the New York Comic Con 2024. I am sure the pictures do these ships no justice whatsoever but they look absolutely spectacular! The offerings ranged from the product line's first release of USS Titan-A from Star Trek Picard to James T. Kirk's USS Farragut from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to Vadic's villainous, malicious Shrike. The collection has been overseen by Ben Robinson who spearheaded Eaglemoss' Star Trek collections. The only downside is FanHome's Star Trek Starships seem to be moving forward with new releases only from the newer series (Picard, SNW, Prodigy, etc) and do not appear to include reruns of old Eaglemoss releases. Hopefully this Star Trek Starships is successful enough that they will consider another run of Enterprises, DS9s, and Klingon Bird of Preys down the road.

A SHOWSTOPPING SPIDER

None of the features at the Comic Con booth were easily missed, but one upcoming release dwarfed them all. The infamous Iron Spider-Man stood a colossal three feet tall with the four 'legs' protruding from his back increasing the geographic area. This model 'popped' with its iconic blue and red colors and massive display. This model is going to be a high-demand item and certainly a collection the community will be excited about and worthy of being a centerpiece of the 2024 FanHome display at New York Comic Con

STARS FROM THE COSMOS

To put a cherry on top of the Star Trek Collection, FanHome welcomed Todd Stashwick, who played Captain Liam Shaw in Season Three of Star Trek Picard, and Ben Robinson to their booth and also MCd a question and answer session in one of the Comic Con meeting rooms. Seeing Stashwick mingle with Star Trek fans while being able to showcase the first release of the Starship Collection, his character's USS Titan-A, was a thrill for the brand and fans alike.

CARS, COLLECTIONS, AND COMICS

Whether you were after collections from the far reaches of space, ripped from the pages of comic books, or traveling around a race track at 150mph, the FanHome booth had it all. From Star Wars to Marvel to NASCAR, so many iconic brands found their way into the showcase at New York Comic Con. Check out these pictures below for just some of the build-up models on display!

Who wouldn't be excited to see what FanHome has in store for us in 2025?! We already have the Iron Spider, Darth Vader, as well Jeff Gordon's No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet under the Deagostini Collections banner to look forward to. It's only going to get better from here. As a brand, it's hard to argue that FanHome brings the quality and passion to their product with every release and continue to raise the bar each time. I am a faithful FanHome subscriber and will continue to be long after the 2024 edition of New York Comic Con is left a distant memory.
